LOST DVDs near Riverfront Park, Alexandria
I LOST my DVDs last Friday around 7:45 p.m., after leaving a bookstore and strolling along the Riverfront Park area in downtown Alexandria. I had them tucked in a tote and stopped to check a map near the Riverfront Center, then walked a few steps toward the river when a breeze or a passerby might have nudged them away. I searched the grassy lot behind the Alexandria Riverfront Center and along the sidewalk by the parking area, but the stack wasn’t there anymore. The collection means a lot to me—classic films and a couple of documentaries I’ve kept for years. If someone found them, I’d be grateful to retrieve them.
Found National Geographic magazines near Alexandria Mall
I found a small stack of National Geographic magazines this afternoon around 2:15pm behind the main entrance of the Alexandria Mall on Masonic Drive. The magazines are in decent shape, glossy covers with bright photos, and the top issue is May 1999 featuring a vibrant coral reef. The edges show a little wear from rain, and I spotted a tiny pencil doodle of a fish on page 42 of one issue. Inside the back cover there’s a sticky note with the name 'Jamie' and the partial number '555-0143'. If you know Jamie or these magazines, please reach out — I figured someone might be missing them, and it would be great to get them back to their owner.
Blue paperback travel guide to Central Louisiana
I lost my blue paperback travel guide to Central Louisiana yesterday around 3pm near the Alexandria Mall on MacArthur Drive. It's a small 6-inch book with a creased white spine and a fleur-de-lis sticker on the back label. Inside, there's a handwritten note in green ink at page 12 and a dog-eared corner on page 72. This book has sentimental value—it's the only guide I have for planning a weekend trip through the bayous, and I really need it back.
Lost paperback copy of 'The Great Gatsby' with dog-eared pages and owner's name inside, lost at The Coffee House in Central Louisiana.
I lost my copy of 'The Great Gatsby' at The Coffee House in Central Louisiana last Tuesday while I was studying. It's a paperback edition with a few dog-eared pages and my name written on the inside cover. I've been searching for it everywhere but can't seem to find it. It really means a lot to me, and I hope someone finds it and returns it!
