Lost pendants near NewBo Market, Cedar Rapids

I’m Ava Thompson. Two pendants disappeared around 6:20 p.m. last Saturday near NewBo City Market. I’d been walking along 6th Avenue SE with my mom after a coffee run when I realized the chain had snapped and the two small pendants were gone from my neck. One pendant is a small heart with a delicate dragonfly engraving—my grandmother gave it to me for luck. The other is a tiny silver disc engraved with the word 'Mom,' simple yet priceless. The evening air tasted of rain and street music drifted from the market as I retraced steps, hope flaring then fading. They mean everything to me; I’m hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe.
