Found DVDs on Main Street, Catskills, near the library
I was out for a Sunday stroll along Main Street in the Catskills around 3:15 p.m. when I spotted a tote behind a bench outside the Whistling Kettle cafe. Inside were several DVDs in bright cases, mostly sci-fi titles and a handful of rom-coms, with a blue sticker on one. I left the tote on the bench and walked a few feet away to check the name on a flyer, hoping the owner would see this post too. If these are yours, the site can help reunite you with the finder.
Found paperback hiking guide in Catskills
I found a paperback hiking guide this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the Phoenicia Diner on Main Street. It's a softcover, about 320 pages, with a blue-green cover and a faded lighthouse illustration. Inside there are yellow highlighter marks on pages 42 and 109, and a pink ribbon bookmark peeking out, with a pressed maple leaf tucked in near page 72. This one looks well-loved and probably means a lot to someone; Iād really like to get it back to its owner.

I lost my vintage copy of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' on a hiking trail in the Catskills last weekend. It has a dark green cover and I had my name, Sarah Johnson, written inside the front cover. I remember taking it out to read a few passages while resting at a scenic overlook, but I must have forgotten it there. It's quite special to me, so I would love to get it back!
