Pocket Watches lost near Boston Common
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Carter. I lost my pocket watches around 6:45 p.m. yesterday near the Boston Common, by the steam fountain and the exit to Tremont Street. They’re two small gold pocket watches, one with a blue dial and a tiny initial engraved on the back. I’m sick with worry because they’re family heirlooms. If you found them anywhere around the Public Garden or along Boylston Street, please know they mean everything to me.
Found hoops in Boston
I found a pair of hoops yesterday afternoon near the Boston Public Library at Copley Square, around 3:45 p.m. I was walking out of the library courtyard when I spotted them on the pavement by the fountain. They’re silver hoop earrings, about 1.5 inches, with a simple design. I picked them up and brought them to the local lost-and-found desk, hoping the owner would recognize them soon. It always feels strange to lose something small and personal; I figured I’d do the right thing and keep them safe until someone claims them.

I lost my gold-tone heart pendant necklace yesterday around 3pm on Newbury Street near the Boston Public Garden's Arlington Street entrance. It's a slender 16-inch chain with a small ruby set in the center of a heart pendant, and the back is engraved with 'MZ.' There's a tiny wear mark near the clasp. I found a delicate gold charm bracelet on the sidewalk while walking near Boston Common last night. It has several little charms, including a heart, a star, and a small key.
