Lost sheet music near Julia Davis Park
Hi, I’m Sophie Rivera. I was leaving the Morrison Center after rehearsal and headed toward Julia Davis Park when, at about 4:22 PM on Tuesday, I realized my sheet music was gone. The pages are labeled with my name and a few pencil annotations for my recital. I am anxious because the recital is in two weeks and those scores are essential to my performance. If you’ve seen them, please let the site know so I can pick them up.
Found red Mapex snare drum with blue star sticker
I found a red Mapex snare drum with a bright blue star sticker on the shell this afternoon around 4:15 pm near the Boise Public Library on Capitol Boulevard. It's a 14-inch snare with a matte red finish, a tiny dent on the rim, and a worn leather strap stamped with the initials 'RS' tucked under the drum. There was no case or label, which makes me think someone was practicing outside and accidentally left it behind. If this belongs to you or your band, reach out and I’ll get it back to you—gear like this means a lot to players.
Silver Bb flute with blue strap near Boise State
I was practicing my silver Bb flute yesterday around 3pm and it slipped from my grip near the Boise State University Student Union Building. It's a standard 26-inch metal flute, polished silver with a light dent on the bell and a scuff near the lip plate. The blue strap has my name embroidered in white, which helped it blend in and made me miss it for a bit. This flute has serious sentimental value—it's a gift from my grandmother and I played it in every recital. If anyone found it, please text me; I'm happy to meet up around campus or near Julia Davis Park to pick it up.
Black 14-inch Pearl snare drum with phoenix sticker
I was jamming with a small group outside the Boise Public Library on Capitol Blvd yesterday around 3pm when my black 14-inch Pearl snare drum vanished. It's a sturdy matte-black shell with chrome hardware, a phoenix sticker on the shell, and a dent near the rim from a dropped stick. The head is a bit worn and there's a faint coffee stain on the inner hoop, easy to spot if you look close. It means a lot to me—it's been my practice drum since our Boise show and carries a lot of sentimental value. If anyone found it, please hit me up; I’d be forever grateful to get it back!
