Lost skirts in downtown Birmingham near Railroad Park
I was rushing to a job interview on Tuesday around 2:40 PM, when a gust of wind swept my skirts from my bag at the corner of 20th Street and 5th Avenue, just outside Railroad Park. They’re my favorite skirts—one brown wool, one black pleated, both with tiny moth holes that only I notice. I retraced my steps along the park path, around the fountain, and up to the cafe, but I didn't find them. If someone picked them up, I’d love to get them back; they’re a comfort and a piece of me I worry about every day. Please keep an eye out; I’m hoping they’re somewhere safe and familiar in the Five Points South area.

There’s a small compass patch stitched inside the left chest pocket and a minor scuff on the left sleeve from last winter. It’s my go-to coat for the commute and it has sentimental value—kept me warm through the cold months and I really need it back. I lost my black velvet evening gown yesterday around 3pm near The Mailbox on Wharfside Street in Birmingham. It's a floor-length gown, size UK 8, from the brand Reiss, with a delicate silver beaded collar and a detachable chiffon cape. There are a few scuffs along the hem from walking on the pavement, but otherwise it's in good condition. This dress was my late grandmother's gift, and it means a lot to me—I'm supposed to wear it to my sister's wedding this weekend, and I’m really hoping someone found it and can return it.
