I was walking home from the farmers market by Riverfront Park in Billings around 6:45 p.m. last Friday when I spotted a tote stuffed with holiday decorations sitting beside a bench. The garland, ribbons, and a few fragile ornaments looked recently abandoned and a little damp from the mist in the air. I picked them up, hopeful they belonged to someone who loves decorating for the season. I know how stressful it is to lose something you carefully tucked away for gifting day. If the owner recognizes these, please reach out through the site and we can arrange a pickup.
LOST: I lost my sheet music for the upcoming recital yesterday around 5:40 p.m. as I walked from Pioneer Park toward the Yellowstone River, near the Yellowstone Art Museum in downtown Billings. My folder is tan leather, a bit worn, with pages marked for practice and a few creases from carrying it in my backpack. Some of the notes are fragile, and the cover has my name on it. It would mean the world to have it back; those pages hold weeks of practice and planning for the performance. If someone found it, I’d be grateful to have it returned through the site.
I’m Mason Reed. I lost my student ID around 2:30 PM on Wednesday at the MSU Billings Library, on the first floor near the reference desk. The card lives in a black wallet with a red stripe and my photo; it’s essential for dorm access and meals on campus. I must have dropped it while I was returning books and chatting with a friend at the main aisle. If found, please claim it through the site; I’d be grateful to get it back.
LOST: I was wandering the First Friday market in Billings last Thursday around 5:20 PM, near the Moss Mansion on 3rd Avenue North. I had tucked my two vintage brooches into my coat while I looked at a stall, and when I stood to pay, they were gone. They are heirloom pieces—the brass one has a turquoise stone, the silver one is engraved—and I’m anxious they might have slipped into a pocket or fallen behind a bench. I’m hopeful someone saw them or picked them up and left them in a safe place around that area.
I found a black 10-inch tablet in a rugged gray case with a small scratch along the bottom edge and a bright blue whale sticker on the back. I picked it up yesterday around 3:15pm outside the Walmart on Grand Avenue in Billings. The home screen shows a mountain wallpaper and a few saved notes, and the device powers on fine. I know this tablet might be important for someone's work or classes, so I'm really hoping to reunite it with its owner soon. If this sounds like yours, drop me a note here with where you last used it, and we can meet up near the Walmart or the downtown library to swap.
I left a black gel seat cushion and a green Owala stainless water bottle in the park ladies bathroom near fields 5-8 at Stewart Park on Sunday afternoon 5-17. Would appreciate if found that it would be returned!
