Lost dresses near Austin, TX
Friday night around 7:45 p.m., I was at Zilker Park in Austin after a friend's birthday dinner when I realized my two dresses were missing from the garment bag I had left on a bench near the Barton Springs entrance. The teal sundress and the black formal dress were both important for events I have this week. It’s hard not to panic thinking someone might have picked them up, assuming they were theirs. I’m hopeful they’re somewhere safe and that this post helps bring them back through the site.

On Tuesday at 6:10 p.m., I realized my floral knee-length skirt was gone as I walked along Congress Ave near the Texas State Capitol in Austin. I had just left a cafe by the Continental Club and was crossing toward 6th Street when it slipped from my bag. The skirt is red with a white floral print and a tiny zipper at the side, a staple for my work outfits. I feel anxious about tonight's plans without it and keep hoping it’s waiting somewhere nearby.

I found a black knit scarf this afternoon around 3:30pm near the Capitol Grounds at Congress Ave and 11th Street in Austin. It's a soft acrylic knit, about 70 inches long, with a thin white stripe along the edge and a small brass tag stamped 'R.S.' on the inner corner. The scarf is in good condition with just a little fuzz from wear. I figured someone might be really glad to have it back after the chilly walk along downtown. I lost my navy Nike running shorts yesterday around 3pm near the Barton Springs Pool entrance on Barton Springs Road. They're size M, made of quick-dry fabric with a neon orange drawstring and a small white Nike swoosh on the left leg. There's a tiny snag on the hem that left a faint fray—easy to spot if you know them. They're my go-to training shorts, and I really need them back since I'm training for a half-marathon.
