I was wrapping up a late practice outside the Auburn University Music Department on Samford Avenue, near Toomer's Corner, when I realized my saxophones were gone around 9:15 p.m. last Wednesday. The set includes a lacquered brass tenor in a black case and an alto with a dent near the bell. Losing them feels like losing my voice, especially since I'm preparing for a campus gig this Friday and rely on those instruments every day.
