I was loading groceries into my car around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, near the Ashtabula Harbor Market on Lake Road. My shopping bags--two blue reusable totes and a couple of brown paper sacks--slipped from my shoulder when a gust swept across the parking lot. By the time I realized they were gone, the sun was dipping behind the breakwater and the lake breeze carried salt and fog. I’m hoping to find them because they hold a grandmother's handwritten grocery list and a small photo tucked in the lining. I’ve retraced that stretch and asked at the market, but no luck yet. They’re plain, practical things, but they represent safe, everyday moments I don’t want to lose.

I lost my dark brown leather Samsonite briefcase yesterday around 3pm outside the Ashtabula Public Library on Main Street, in the south parking lot. It’s a medium-sized case, a bit scuffed from travel, with brass zippers and a small dent on the bottom edge. The interior lining is bright red and there’s a built-in laptop sleeve. Inside the front pocket there’s a 'Property of Priya Patel' tag and a coffee stain on the front panel, plus a folded note from my grandmother tucked in the pocket. This briefcase means a lot to me and has sentimental value—please, if anyone found it, get in touch. I really need it back.

I lost my navy blue North Face backpack yesterday around 3:15pm near the Ashtabula Harbor area. It's a medium-sized pack with orange zipper pulls and a small vinyl compass patch on the front pocket. Inside I had my laptop sleeve, a well-worn notebook, and a rainbow keychain clipped to the zipper. I think I left it on a bench outside a cafe on Main Street near the library, but it might have rolled into the bus stop area by Bridge Street. It means a lot to me—it was a gift from my sister, and I'm really hoping someone who picks it up will bring it back.

I found this gorgeous navy blue leather handbag sitting on a bench at Ashtabula Harbor while out for a walk yesterday. It has gold hardware and looks brand new, but there's no identification inside. I’d love to return it to its rightful owner.
