Lost brooches in Asheville

I was wandering downtown Asheville near Pack Square Park around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday when I realized my two brooches were missing from my coat pocket. One is a turquoise leaf, the other a tiny silver flower with delicate etching—my grandmother’s gift, and losing them hits harder than any trip ever could. I retraced steps past the Grove Arcade and along Church Street, asking the barista and the shopkeepers if anyone had seen them, but nothing turned up. If they’re found, I am hoping they are tucked away in a safe place waiting to come home.
