Lost Brooches Near Paramount Theatre, Abilene
I lost my brooches after rehearsal at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Abilene around 8:30 pm last Saturday. They are a trio of vintage pieces: one gold-tone with a sapphire-like stone, another with a tiny floral motif, and they sat in a faded velvet pouch that’s now missing. They are heirlooms from my grandmother, so they feel irreplaceable and hold a lot of meaning. I’m hopeful someone picked them up and will recognize their significance. The theatre’s lobby and backstage corridors were crowded after the show, and I last remember them near the gift shop area.
