Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Items left on buses, trains, trams, and taxis around Yuma are usually handed in to the operator's lost property team — the trick is contacting the right one quickly.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for Yuma in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost adapters in Yuma, Arizona

I lost my adapters last Friday around 7:15 p.m. after I packed up my backpack outside the Yuma Public Library on 1st Street. I had just finished a quick work call at the cafe near the entrance and must have left them on the chair I sat in to stretch my back. They're a compact black set, two USB-C and one USB-A, with a blue cable tied to the bundle. I'm hoping someone picked them up and tucked them by the fountain near the library steps. It would mean a lot to have them back before my trip next week.

Lost travel visas near Yuma Old Town

I was rummaging through my backpack at the Yuma Riverfront around 4:15 PM on a sunny Thursday when I realized my travel visas were gone. I had just sat on a bench near the Historic Yuma Crossing and Main Street, sorting receipts, before I must have dropped them somewhere along the riverwalk. These visas are crucial for an upcoming trip, and the thought of being unable to leave soon makes me anxious. If someone finds a folder with my name on it, I’d be grateful for any help returning it to the right mailbox.

LOST postcards along Main Street in Old Town Yuma

While wandering through Old Town Yuma around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, I tucked a handful of postcards back into my bag from a quick detour at the Yuma Riverwalk. When I reached for them later, they were LOST, left behind on a bench outside the Yuma Visitors Center. The cards show faded photos of the river, the desert sunset, and a pastel illustration of the town square—things that mean a lot to me because they were from a trip with my grandmother's stories. I have retraced the streets twice and asked at a few coffee shops, but no luck so far. If you found them, please know they belong to me and I would really appreciate the chance to get them back.

Lost cockatiel with yellow crest

I lost my cockatiel. He’s a small gray bird with a bright yellow crest and orange cheeks. I last saw him yesterday around 3pm near the Yuma Public Library on Main Street; he slipped from his cage and disappeared into the area behind the shops. He’s about 11 inches long from beak to tail and has a tiny white scar on his left wing from a scrape last month, and he usually steps up on a finger and answers to 'Sunny'. This bird means a lot to me and I really need him back.

Two general admission concert tickets to Sunset Music Fest

I was at the Yuma Civic Center yesterday around 3pm, near the Main Street entrance by the bike racks. I pulled the two general admission Sunset Music Fest tickets out of my wallet to show a friend and must've left them on the bench. They’re white printer-stock, with a red cactus watermark and a shimmering holographic strip along the bottom. One ticket has a small coffee ring stain on the corner and a faint crease along the barcode edge. These tickets meant a lot to me—they were a birthday gift from my sister and I really need them back. If you’ve seen them or picked them up, please drop them at the Lost & Found or message me here.

Gold hoop earrings with emerald beads

I lost my gold hoop earrings yesterday around 3pm near the Yuma Public Library at Main Street and 1st Ave. They’re simple 14k gold hoops about 1.25 inches in diameter, with tiny emerald beads hanging from the bottom. One earring has a small dent on the inner edge, which is how I can tell them apart. They were a gift from my grandmother and mean a lot to me—really hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe. If you found them, reach me at [email protected] — I’d be so grateful.
