Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Items left on buses, trains, trams, and taxis around Wyoming are usually handed in to the operator's lost property team — the trick is contacting the right one quickly.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for Wyoming in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost shoes near the town square

I was at the Rustler Bar & Grill on Main Street in Wyoming yesterday around 6:30 PM, and I must have left my shoes under the table as I stepped outside for a quick breath of air. By the time I realized I was in my sock feet, the tan leather sneakers were gone. They’re size 9, with a small scuff on the left toe, and I added a bright blue lace eyelet last summer. I’ve been hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe, because they’re my everyday comfort after long shifts on the ranch and mean a lot to me emotionally.

LOST Ties in Wyoming on Main Street today

I realized around 5:15 pm Thursday that my navy wool ties with a thin silver thread were missing. I had just finished helping set up chairs for a community fundraiser outside the Wyoming Town Library on East Main Street, and I stepped out for a quick break, only to notice they were gone. Those ties are part of my interview suit and hold sentimental value; I’ve worn them for every important moment in the past year. I retraced my steps along Main Street and around the library’s parking lot, but I didn’t see them and I felt a lump in my throat. If someone has picked them up, I’d be grateful to hear they’re safe.

Shirts lost on Main Street in Wyoming

I’m Lucas Reed. I lost several shirts last Friday around 5:45 PM on Main Street in Wyoming, Wyoming, United States. They’re plain blue and white crew-necks from the little hometown shop, one with a faded Wyoming Cowboys logo on the sleeve—the shirts were a gift from my grandfather, and they mean a lot to me. I last had them at the coffee shop on the corner of Main and 2nd, then walked toward the old railroad depot, but by the time I circled back they were gone. I’m trying not to panic and hope someone may have found them and left them somewhere safe.

Parrots lost in Wyoming town

I found my two parrots missing around 6:20 PM yesterday near Main Street and Mountain View Park in Wyoming. They’re two emerald-colored birds with blue feather tips; the louder one has a tiny red patch on its beak and a habit of mimicking town chatter. I searched the alley behind the hardware store, then the park’s walking path and the gazebo, but they’ve vanished into the purple dusk. If you’ve seen fluttering green in that part of town, please contact me through the site so I can bring them home.

Lost hamsters near Wyoming Town Park

Hi, I’m Alex Rivera. Around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, I opened the apartment door to let in a breeze and my two hamsters, Milo and Nibbles, slipped out under the door and disappeared toward Main Street by the old water tower. Milo is brown with white patches, Nibbles is gray with a white belly. My heart is racing because they’re tiny and curious, and I worry about the cold tonight. If you saw squeaks near Wyoming Town Park or by the town library, I’d be grateful for any sighting.

Lost Breeds at Wyoming Town Park gazebo

I was leaving the Wyoming Town Park after a small rescue meeting around 6:30 PM yesterday, and my bag bumped a bench. The Breeds binder I carry slipped out and disappeared. It's a loose-leaf notebook filled with breed profiles, photos, and notes from years of volunteering with local rescues. A pressed paw print sits in the back pocket, a tiny reminder of every dog I’ve helped. I’m anxious about its return because those pages are my history with these animals. If it turns up anywhere near the gazebo by the Wyoming Town Park Library, I’d be grateful beyond words.
