I realized I dropped a small tin of coins near the north entrance of Lucy Park in Wichita Falls around 4:30 p.m. yesterday while heading home from the grocery store. The tin holds my grandmother's collection—mostly pennies and a few silver dimes from the 1960s—packed into a dented red tin with a faded label. I retraced the river trail, checked under benches, and asked a couple of walkers, but I came up empty. These coins carry memories, and I'd be grateful to have them back with me.
