The garlands were tangled with string lights, a lonely red stocking showed a bit of wear, and a small note tucked under a ribbon looked like someone had hurriedly packed up for a gathering. I picked them up and hoped to reunite them with their rightful owner, imagining the home they belong to around the corner. If you’re missing them, they’re safe with me for now, and I’m keeping an eye out for a familiar name tag or project around the block.

Blue concert ticket stub with barcode

I found a blue concert ticket stub yesterday around 3pm on the sidewalk outside the Waterloo Public Library, Main Street entrance. It's a glossy 2x4 inch paper ticket with a large barcode across the middle and a tiny holographic sticker in the top corner. The print is worn where the event name should be, but you can clearly see the date '08/12' and 'Section G, Row 4' on the stub. There's a faint coffee ring on the edge, and the ticket looks a bit crumpled from rain. It seems like it meant a lot to the owner, and I picked it up hoping to reunite it with whoever bought it. 6-inch Star Wars action figure in blister pack

I found a mint-condition Star Wars action figure this afternoon around 3:30 pm behind the Cedar Falls Public Library on Main Street. It's about 6 inches tall and still sealed in its original blister pack; the card back has a little corner wear and a faint crease along the top edge. The packaging is mostly black and red with the Hasbro logo visible, and the figure inside wears a dark jumpsuit with a blue cape—I can't tell the exact character without opening it. There's a small pencil initials CF sticker on the back of the card, which could help identify the owner, and I'd love to reunite it with them.
