lost: two brooches in Burlington, Vermont.

near the Clock Tower at Church Street Marketplace Lost listing Posted about 4 hours ago

Description

I lost my grandmother's heirloom brooches on Tuesday, around 4:15 PM, at Church Street Marketplace in Burlington. They’re a pair: one silver-tone with a tiny heart, and the other a cobalt-blue stone set in brass. I remember browsing window displays near the benches by the Clock Tower when the crowd swelled, and I must have slipped them from my scarf. It felt like a part of me disappeared in the ripple of coffee steam and the clanging of bike bells. If someone spotted them on the gray flagstone, I’d be grateful to hear they found their way back to me.
