I was leaving the Corning Museum of Glass around 6:20 p.m. on Friday, walking along Water Street toward Center Way Square in Corning, NY, when I realized my shoes weren’t on my feet anymore. They’re blue running sneakers with white stripes and a little wear on the toe. Twin Tiers NY/PA has seen me in these shoes on countless coffee runs and river hikes, and it stings to think I may have left them behind in the rush. If you found a blue pair near the museum, I’d be relieved to hear they’ve turned up somewhere safe.
