After a long rehearsal at CSI's Performing Arts Center, around 6:40 p.m. yesterday, I left my sheet music on a blue bench outside the theater. The binder is well-worn with my initials 'JR' in the corner and a few coffee stains from practice runs. Those pages hold tempo markings and cue notes for a new piece we're set to premiere, and losing them has my stomach in knots.
