On Friday around 6:50 p.m., I realized my appliances bundle wasn’t in my car after I left the Port St. Lucie Civic Center parking lot. It held a toaster oven, a blender, and a few gadgets tucked into a blue tote. I must have set the tote on the passenger seat while I ran inside for a quick bite at a nearby food truck, and when I returned, the tote was gone. Losing those everyday helpers stings; I just want them back to get back to cooking.
