Last Friday at 7:42 p.m., I left two portable radios on a concrete bench by the Promenade Park fountain along the Maumee River while I checked a map. I wandered a few steps toward the riverwalk and then returned, but the bench was empty and the path crowded with joggers and vendors. One radio is a small silver model with a blue strap and a cracked screen; the other is a matte black unit with a red strap. I'm really shaken—these radios were gifts from my grandfather, and I used them for field recordings for a little project I'm finishing up.

The bottom bears a tiny hand-stamped mark that reads 'Moonstone Ceramics.' It looks like it was used for baking and deserves to be back with its owner. I found a beautiful antique wooden chair near my apartment in Toledo last week. It has unique carvings on the backrest and a deep mahogany color. The chair was left somewhat hidden behind a bush, and I believe it may have been taken to the street for bulk pickup but wasn’t collected.
