Description
I was sorting through an old photo album in the yard behind the Vigo County Courthouse on Wabash Avenue around 4:15 p.m. last Saturday when a stack of photographs slipped out and vanished. The prints span generations—a black-and-white portrait from the 1950s, a faded color photo from a family picnic, and a school portrait from my own childhood. They’re priceless to me, a tangible thread to people I love who are no longer here. If they turn up, I hope they land back in the album where they belong.
