Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Items left on buses, trains, trams, and taxis around St George are usually handed in to the operator's lost property team — the trick is contacting the right one quickly.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for St George in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost travel adapters near Town Square, St. George

Last night around 6:30 PM, I misplaced my travel adapters somewhere near Town Square in St. George. I had been charging my phone in a small cafe on 100 South after a long hike in Snow Canyon, and when I packed up, the adapters were gone from my backpack pocket. They are a compact black two-port model with a blue travel strap; I use them every trip, and not having them makes it hard to stay connected. I am hopeful someone honest picked them up, and that they will find their way back to me through this site.

Lost passports in St. George, Utah

On Saturday around 11:20 a.m., after a hike at Sand Hollow State Park, I realized my passports were missing from my daypack. I must have left them somewhere near Pioneer Park, maybe by the fountain on Main Street. I retraced steps through downtown St. George, checked the farmers market area, and asked a few shop owners, but no luck. Losing them has me stressed since they're essential for travel and my trip next week. If you found them, please let the site know; I am hoping for a kind turnout.

Blue Penguin Classics paperback, worn

I lost my blue Penguin Classics pocket book yesterday around 3pm near the St George Library on Main Street. It's a compact paperback, about 4 by 6 inches, with a creased spine and a small coffee stain on the back cover. One edge has a faint pencil note that says 'For Mia' in a kidlike handwriting, and the pages are a bit dog-eared from daily reading. It was a gift from my grandmother and holds sentimental value, so I really need it back. If anyone found it, you can reach me at [email protected] and drop it off at the library's Lost & Found.

Brass harmonica with red-lined case

I was wandering downtown St George yesterday around 3pm and I think I dropped my little brass harmonica with a black case near the Starbucks on Main Street by the Town Square fountain. It's a Hohner pocket harp, brass-colored, about the size of a credit card, with a tiny dent on the corner and a slick red lining inside the case. The black leather-like case is slim, and the metal clasp is engraved with my initials 'A.J.S.' plus there's a tiny seashell sticker tucked inside the lid. It’s sentimental to me because my grandfather gave it to me, and I really miss playing it. If you found it, I’d be forever grateful to have it back.

Silver 18-inch chain necklace with heart pendant

I lost my silver 18-inch chain necklace yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Main Street and Center Street in downtown St George. It's a sterling-silver pendant with a small 8mm heart, and there's a tiny blue enamel star set inside the heart. The back is engraved with the initials 'PP'. The chain has a few micro-scratches and a faint tarnish, but it's otherwise in good shape. It was a gift from my grandmother, so it means a lot to me and I really need it back. If you found it, please let me know -- I would be forever grateful.
