I was busking along St. George Street around 6:42 p.m. last Saturday when my saxophones disappeared from the open case. They’re two horns I saved for years, one silver and one brass, with a few scratches from practice nights. The Castillo de San Marcos glowed behind me and tourists drifted by as I searched the cobblestones in disbelief. I retraced to the bench where I had paused for a water break, but they were gone.
