Lost wall art near SIU Carbondale

Last Wednesday at 9:10 p.m., I lost a wall art piece leaning on a chair by the Old Main entrance on the SIU campus in Carbondale. It’s a 24x30 inch canvas of a forest in amber and teal, in a dark wood frame; the frame has a slight crack on the bottom edge. I had stepped out to grab a coffee at the Carbondale Public Library and when I got back it was gone. It feels like part of my grandmother's memory collection is missing, and I'm anxious to know it's safe.

LOST studs near SIU Student Center

I was at the SIU Student Center in Carbondale around 5:20 PM last Thursday when I realized my silver studs were missing from my jacket pocket. They are tiny and simple, but they mean a lot to me. I remember stepping into the bookstore area near the food court, then wandering toward the campus quad and back to the student lounge, hoping they had not slipped somewhere obvious. Since then I have felt a mix of frustration and hope, frustrated at losing something small, hopeful that someone honest found them and turned them in to the lost and found. If they are out there, I would love to have them back.

I lost Paintings around 4:30 p.m. today near the Pulliam Center for Contemporary Arts on the Southern Illinois University Carbondale campus. They are two large canvases—one with an abstract blue design, the other a warm, landscape scene. They mean a lot to me and I’m anxious about their safety because they were part of an upcoming show. Puppies lost near Garden of the Gods overlook in Southern Illinois

I was hiking with my two puppies along the Garden of the Gods Recreation Area overlook in Southern Illinois around 3:15 p.m. today when a sudden gust whipped the leash and sent them wandering toward the rock formations. They are a beagle and a small terrier mix, one brown with white patches and the other mostly black with a white chest, both wearing small collars with tags. I am devastated; these puppies are all I have after moving to Southern Illinois, and I am hoping for a quick reunion. If you saw them near the overlook or heard a bark in the woods, please tell the site staff; we would be grateful for any help.

lost coins near the SIU campus in Carbondale

I lost a small pile of coins on a bench outside the SIU Student Center by the main library steps at 3:15 p.m. last Friday. When I stood to stretch, the coins were gone. It's just a tiny collection: old pennies, a silver dime, and a few keepsakes from trips with my grandfather, but it carries a lot of memory.
