Description
I was filming a nature piece at Pittsburg Riverfront Park in southeast Kansas around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, and my two drones disappeared from a bench near the walking path. The bigger drone is gray with a black camera housing; the smaller one is blue with orange prop guards. I had them set up for a quick take, and I stepped away to adjust a lens for two minutes. When I looked back, they were gone. These machines are essential for the after-school program I run with kids from Pittsburg State University, teaching basic photography and video. I'm devastated to lose them, and I'd be grateful for any sighting near the Bicknell Center or along the riverfront trail.
