Description
I lost my rabbits at 4:15 PM on Friday, July 7, while walking them along the Embarcadero near Fisherman's Wharf; they bolted from their carrier. I called their names, but the harbor breeze carried my voice away and a crowd of tourists barely acknowledged me. They’re two small rabbits, one brown with a white belly and the other a snowy gray, curious and quick to explore. I worry they hid under a bench, or slipped into a café’s back area, and I can’t shake the image of them sniffing a pastry display and forgetting about me. I miss their soft ears and the way they’d curl into my lap after a long day. If you’ve seen them, I’m still looking and I won’t give up.
