I found a black pebbled leather handbag this afternoon around 2:15pm near the Scotts Bluff National Monument parking lot. It’s about 12 inches wide and 9 inches tall, with a long adjustable strap and a gold-tone zipper. Inside there’s a bright pink lining, a small butterfly embroidery on the inside pocket, and a tiny coffee stain on the bottom edge—easy to spot in a bag. Gold ring with emerald found near Scotts Bluff National Monument

It’s a slim gold band, about a size 6.5, with a small oval emerald and a barely noticeable 'AJ' engraving on the inner side. Gray Nike running shoes found near Scottsbluff Public Library

Found gray tabby with blue collar

I found a gray tabby cat this afternoon around 2:15pm behind the public library on 18th Street in Scottsbluff, out in Nebraska’s Panhandle. It has white paws and a tiny notch in the left ear. It’s wearing a bright blue collar with a small silver bell and a tag that reads 'Mia'. The cat is about 8-9 pounds, looks healthy, and was a bit cautious at first but warmed up after a gentle scratch behind the ears. It purred when I petted it. It seems well-fed and clean, which makes me think it might be someone's indoor cat that slipped out during the last storm. I’d really like to reunite it with its person.
