At about 5:40 PM today, after a rehearsal at Cantabile Studio, I realized my blue folder of sheet music was missing. It carries pieces for an upcoming recital and has a white label that reads 'Diego Ramirez – Recital.' Losing it makes me feel backed into a corner; I spent weeks shaping these parts and memorizing each page. I last had it outside Cantabile Studio near Capitol Park on 15th Street in Midtown Sacramento. The folder isn’t just paper—it’s my work, my practice, my best preparation.
