Lost toy train near Durham Amtrak platform, NC

On May 2, 2026, at about 7:50 a.m., I realized my small wooden toy train was missing from the seat pocket on a Raleigh-Durham line train as we rolled into Durham Station. I had tucked the little red-and-blue engine into a tote to keep it safe while I commuted to Chapel Hill, but it must have slipped out during the stop. The train is a simple yet cherished keepsake—my nephew loves it, and it means a lot to him. If you found it near the Durham Amtrak platform, I’d be grateful for any sign of its return.
