Description
I left the Port Huron office on Water Street at 2:30 pm last Friday, carrying two work cases toward Riverside Park along the Black River Walk. I paused near the Blue Water Bridge approach to check a note, and when I looked back the cases were gone. One is a black laptop bag, the other a brown leather portfolio with a few important documents. My heart sank thinking about deadlines and client details. If someone found them, I hope they turned them in at the downtown Port Huron Maritime Center or near Fort Gratiot Lighthouse.

How to safely get your item back

- Request a clear photo of the item from an angle you did not post.
- Do not pay any release, shipping, or storage fee.

Meet in a safe, public place
- Police stations, café entrances, transport hubs, and shop foyers all work.

- Avoid private homes, car parks at night, or isolated locations.
Bring someone with you
- Tell a friend or family member where you are meeting and when.
- Share your live location with them during the handoff.
- For high-value items, consider contacting your local police station for advice first.
