I lost my golden Syrian hamster, Gizmo, yesterday around 3pm after the cage door came unlatched during playtime at our apartment near the Oxford Square on University Ave. He’s a tiny guy, about the size of a walnut, with a fluffy golden coat, white belly, and a small notch in his left ear. He also has a faint white blaze on his forehead that makes him easy to spot if you catch him still. He’s shy around strangers but loves sunflower seeds, so if you offer a snack he might come out. My kid is really upset and I’d be incredibly grateful to get him back; Gizmo is a rescue with sentimental value.

Lost dog: grey/white terrier with red collar

I lost my grey-and-white terrier yesterday around 3pm near Barnes Crossing Mall in Tupelo. He's about 40 pounds, short-coated, with one floppy ear and a white heart-shaped patch on his chest, and he wears a red nylon collar with a small round tag that has my phone number. He can be shy around people but is incredibly friendly once he warms up. He bolted when a loud car backfired near the Belk entrance and wandered toward the West Main Street neighborhood; I haven’t seen him since. Calico cat with green collar and bell

I lost my calico cat yesterday around 3pm near the Walmart on West Main Street in Tupelo, North Mississippi. She's about 9 pounds, has a white bib, orange and black patches, and wears a bright green collar with a tiny bell. She sometimes limps a bit on her right hind leg and has a small white scar on her left ear from a past scratch. She's friendly once she trusts you but will bolt if you hear loud noises, and this cat means the world to me—she's a rescue I nursed back to health and I really need her back.
