LOST: Stamps near Broadway, Nashville
I was sorting mail near the Country Music Hall of Fame on 5th Ave North around 4:15 p.m. yesterday when I set a tiny tin of vintage stamps on a bench and stepped away for a moment. When I turned back, the tin and its memories were gone—the stamps tie together letters from my grandmother and a faded note she tucked inside long ago. The glow of the marquee and the evening crowd still haunt me, and I keep picturing them on the ground under a lamppost by the hall. I found these this afternoon around 3:15pm outside the Country Music Hall of Fame on Broadway in Nashville. They’re blue and white Nike running shoes, size 10, with a bright orange lace lock and a white foam midsole. One shoe has a small scuff on the toe and a faint crease across the left shoe from a sweaty week of training. If these belong to someone, I’d be glad to help reunite them—I know how it feels to lose a pair you rely on.
