Found a small brass compass with a frayed red string this morning around 9:15am, tucked on the curb near the Monterey Bay Aquarium entrance along Cannery Row. It's thumb-sized, with a tiny dent in the rim and the initials 'A.M.' etched on the back, plus the red cord worn thin from years of use.
