I left my grandfather's old violin in a black case at the Mendocino County picnic area near the ocean last weekend. I was about to start playing when my friend distracted me, and I walked away without it. The violin is antique, with a beautiful warm wood finish and has a few sentimental scratches. I'm really hoping someone picked it up because it means a lot to me and my family.
