LOST: Holiday Decorations near Mendocino Village

I left the holiday decorations on the porch of my friend's cottage on Main Street in Mendocino around 7:45 p.m. last Sunday, and when I looked again the next morning they were gone. The box contained string lights, red bows, and a garland that glowed softly in the porch light. I walked the short distance toward Mendocino Headlands State Park and checked the nearby shops, but no sign. The decorations meant a lot to us during our stay in Mendocino County, and I’d love to have them back for our Christmas setup.

lost utensils near Little River Inn, Mendocino

I was wrapping up a sunset picnic outside the Little River Inn along Highway 1 around 6:15 PM last Friday. I laid out a small metal utensil tin, and by the time I stood to put everything away, the utensils vanished. It’s a simple stainless set—fork, knife, and spoon—with a blue tape stripe and a tiny dent in the spoon. I’m hoping a kind passerby picked them up and kept them safe; those tools feel like a little piece of home and I’d hate to start cooking without them.

Lost: Tank Accessories in Mendocino County

Hi, I’m Avery Collins. I lost a bag with my tank accessories—the heater, an extra filter, and a bundle of hoses—somewhere along the Glass Beach parking lot in Fort Bragg around 6:15 PM last Friday. I had pulled over to snap a quick photo and must have forgotten it when I got back in the truck. The bag is blue with a white zipper and a small dent in the lid. I rely on these for my aquarium setup, and I’m hoping someone found them and kept them safe somewhere in Mendocino County.

Lost Saxophones after show on Fort Bragg Main St.

I’m a local saxophonist and I left my Saxophones after a small show on Fort Bragg’s Main Street around 2:35 p.m. Friday. They were in a black hard case with two horns, the necks peeking out, and I’m sure I left them near the backstage area behind the venue by the harbor. Those instruments are how I tell my stories on stage, and I’m frantic about letting them disappear into someone else’s hands. If they’re safe somewhere, I hope they’ll be turned in to the venue’s lost-and-found so I can get back to playing soon.

Lost Parrots in Mendocino County, CA

LOST my two parrots late Friday night, around 7:45 PM, from the enclosed yard near the Mendocino County Fairgrounds. I last saw them perched on the back deck railing and now I’ve walked the yard, called their names, and checked every perch inside the house. They’re two bright parrots—one with blue on its wings and the other with yellow patches—and they answer to simple phrases I taught them. If anyone spotted them near Mendocino Headlands State Park or along the coastal trail, please keep them safe—their family misses them dearly.

Lost travel visas in Mendocino County

I realized I was missing my travel visas this morning after a meeting in Ukiah around 4:30 PM. I was driving along Highway 1 and stopped briefly at the Glass Beach overlook in Fort Bragg to stretch my legs, and that’s when I last recall having them in a blue folder on the passenger seat. Since then, I’ve retraced my steps and searched the car, the motel lobby, and a few rest stops with no luck. They’re essential documents and I’m anxious about being unable to travel without them.
