Gold ring with emerald and engravings

I found a gold ring this afternoon around 2:30pm outside the Ashland Library on Lithia Way. It's a yellow gold band, about a size 6, with a small oval emerald set in a delicate bezel. There are faint flower-shaped engravings along the outside edge, and inside the band is a tiny 'A.L.' engraving. The ring shows light wear but is in good condition overall.
