Found an item? Your responsibilities

Found something in Macon / Warner Robins? Handling it responsibly protects both you and the owner. Rules vary by location, but the principles are consistent.

  1. Make a reasonable effort to find the owner. Check for ID, contact details, or anything that identifies who it belongs to.

  5. Post a found listing. Add a found-item listing for Macon / Warner Robins with enough detail for the real owner to identify it — while holding back one verifying detail.

Found: Pins in Macon / Warner Robins area

I was walking through the Macon-Warner Robins area this afternoon around 4:20 p.m. when I spotted a small tin of pins half-buried in the grass by the Macon City Auditorium’s rear lot on Cherry Street. There were about a dozen pins in different shapes—some club badges, some charity pins—all mixed together. I picked them up because I figured someone might be missing them and I’d want to help. They look like they matter to whoever owns them; I’m hoping the right person sees this and recognizes them. In the meantime I’ve kept them safe and dry in my jacket pocket.

Found postcards near Grand Opera House, Macon

I was walking along Cherry Street outside the Grand Opera House in Macon, near Warner Robins, around 11:20 AM this morning when I spotted a stack of postcards on a bench. They looked well-loved, with stamps from places I barely recognize and tiny notes peeking out from envelopes. I picked them up and thought someone must be missing these memories as much as I’d miss mine. If these postcards belong to you, I’m sharing them here in the hope we can get them back to their owner.

Gray knit beanie with red heart patch

Found this gray knit beanie this afternoon around 3:15pm outside the Walmart on Zebulon Road in Macon, near the garden center entrance. It's an adult-size beanie, soft acrylic yarn, with a bit of wear but still cozy. The standout feature is a small red heart patch sewn on the front, plus a faint white speck near the cuff from a quick wash. Not brand-new, but it's clean and in decent shape. If it belongs to someone, I'm glad to help return it.

Nintendo Switch Lite in blue case with dragon sticker

I found a Nintendo Switch Lite this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Warner Robins Public Library on Watson Blvd. It was sitting on a bench near the bike racks, not far from the entrance. It’s in a blue protective case with a pink dragon sticker on the back and a small dent on the bottom edge. The screen protector is scratched, but the display boots up fine when powered on. There was no charger with it. It looks recently used, so I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner. If this sounds like yours, I’m happy to meet at the library or drop it off at the front desk.

Found small hamster with white stripe near Forsyth Rd

I found a small hamster this afternoon around 3:10pm darting across the parking lot behind PetSmart on Forsyth Road in Macon. It's about 2 inches long, fluffy tan-brown with a distinctive white stripe running from the nose up between the eyes to the forehead and a white belly. The little guy seems well cared for but a bit jittery after I scooped him into a tote with some bedding and a handful of sunflower seeds. He has a tiny black dot on his left ear and a couple of faint white patches along his back—nice identifying markers. I'm hoping to get him back to his owner soon.

Found Nintendo Switch OLED with neon Joy-Cons

I found a Nintendo Switch OLED this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Walmart on Bass Road in Macon. It's white with neon red/blue Joy-Cons and a black kickstand. There's a small blue silicone case on the left Joy-Con and a purple sticker with the initials 'TK' on the back, plus a gray carrying case with a red stitched logo. This item seems sentimental to someone, and I'd like to get it back to its owner. If this sounds like yours, reply with the rough time you last used it and one other identifying detail, and we can meet at Walmart customer service to verify and hand it over.
