Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Items left on buses, trains, trams, and taxis around Logan are usually handed in to the operator's lost property team — the trick is contacting the right one quickly.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for Logan in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost handheld and console in Logan

On Friday evening around 8:15 PM, I realized my handheld console and a small black case were missing from my backpack after I left the USU Library in Logan. I retraced my steps toward Old Main Hill, checking benches near the Taggart Student Center and the library entrance. Those devices hold a lot of personal saves and a few photos, so I’m anxious to have them back. I hope someone kept an eye out in this campus area.

Lost drones in Logan

I was flying two drones near Utah State University and Main Street, outside the Ellen Eccles Theatre, around 3:15 p.m. yesterday when a gust knocked them out of the sky. I followed the path toward Benson Park and along the Logan River Trail, but they didn’t reappear. The smaller drone is white with a red prop guard; the larger is matte black with a silver ring on top. Losing them is hard because I had footage for a project due next week, and replacing them won't be quick. If you found them, please know they're mine and I’d be grateful to have them back.

Lost holiday decorations in Logan, Utah

On a chilly December evening around 7:40 PM, I was finishing up and setting out some holiday decorations outside our Logan apartment near Utah State University when a gust knocked the box off the porch and across the yard. Inside were garlands, a handful of glass ornaments, several strings of lights, and a big red bow. I grabbed what I could, but a portion apparently blew away toward Willow Park. These decorations have sentimental value for me, as they remind me of family traditions and my grandmother. I posted them here hoping someone who picked them up might see this and help reunite them with us via the site.

Blue Omron BP monitor in gray case

I lost my blue Omron blood pressure monitor in a gray zip case yesterday around 3pm outside the Logan Library on Main Street. It's a compact unit, about the size of a paperback, with a white Omron logo and a small red zipper pull on the case. There’s a tiny sticker of a mountain on the front and a thin dent on the case from a fall last week. It’s really important to me—the readings help me stay on track every day, and I’d be grateful to get it back if anyone happened to find it. If you found it, you can email me at [email protected].

Black leather briefcase with red tag

I lost my black leather Samsonite briefcase yesterday around 3pm. It's a medium-sized bag, a little scuffed on the bottom from daily use, with a red leather luggage tag bearing the initials 'PP' on the handle. Inside there's my laptop charger and a few project folders, plus a faded University ID sleeve. I was at the Logan Central Library on Main Street and grabbed a coffee at a cafe just across the street when I realized it wasn't with me. This briefcase has sentimental value and contains important documents I really need back.

Black Bellroy passport wallet with coffee stain

I lost my black Bellroy RFID passport wallet yesterday around 3pm near the Logan Library on Main Street. It’s a compact, matte-black leather wallet about the size of a passport, with the Bellroy logo on the bottom-right corner. Inside there’s a laminated photo of my sister tucked in one card slot, plus a few essential cards and my passport in the main pocket. There’s a small coffee stain on the back cover and a slight crease along the top edge from living in my bag. It has sentimental value and I really need it back.
