They looked thirsty and curious, so I gently coaxed them into a lightweight carrier and kept them safe in my room for a bit while I looked for help. By midnight I handed them over to hotel security at the Bellagio, hoping to reunite them with their owner quickly. It felt like a huge relief to know they were safe.
