LOST Hoops in La Crosse, Wisconsin

LOST Hoops. I stepped out of Pearl Street Bar & Grill on Main Street around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday and realized my gold hoop earrings were gone. I’d been talking with a friend near Riverside Park, and I probably brushed against a gust that knocked them loose. I walked the block twice, checked the sidewalks and benches, and even peered behind a bike rack, but they vanished. Those hoops are my daily comfort, and I’m hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe. If you found them, please drop them off at the downtown lost-and-found.

Lost work cases in La Crosse, WI

At 5:30 PM this past Friday I was walking out from the La Crosse Center and realized my work cases were missing. I had set them down briefly by the Riverside Park entrance near the Mississippi River while I adjusted my backpack. The cases are black leather with my initials EC on the zipper and a few project notes peeking out. I’m stressed about deadlines and the thought of lost work is weighing on me. If someone picked them up, I’d be grateful to have them back where they belong.

Lost sheet music in La Crosse by Riverside Park

I was sitting on a bench near Riverside Park, La Crosse, just after 6:50 p.m. last Friday when my sheet music for a Chopin nocturne slid from my binder and disappeared into the grass and trees around the riverfront. The pages have a green cover, with a coffee stain on the corner and a few dog-eared practice marks. Losing it felt like I misplaced a part of my routine and my mood dropped with the river breeze. If you found it, please keep it safe by the bandstand area so I can retrieve it when I return to practice.

Lost Lamps in La Crosse

LOST: Yesterday around 6:15 PM I was unloading boxes at my La Crosse apartment and must have left these lamps on the hallway table when I rushed out toward Riverside Park. The lamps are tall with brass bases and warm cream shades. I last walked east on 3rd Street, looping toward the Pump House by the Mississippi River, hoping to catch the sunset. They’re simple, but they brighten up my living room and I miss them already.

Lost Student ID near Riverside Park, La Crosse

I realized around 7:45 PM that my student ID was missing after a late class. I had been walking from the UW–La Crosse campus toward Riverside Park along the riverfront when I noticed the card wasn’t in my pocket. The ID is blue, laminated, with my photo and the university crest, attached to a purple lanyard. I retraced steps along Main Street, past the river’s edge, and toward the Grandad Bluff overlook, stopping to ask a few passersby if they’d seen it. The thought of replacing it or losing campus access is unsettling, but I’m hopeful a good samaritan turned it in at the Lost and Found. If you’ve seen it, please return it through the site.”
