Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m., I realized my travel bags were missing after I stopped at Cunningham Park near the Joplin Public Library and then headed toward the big mural on 7th Street. The bags held my clothes and a small travel case with documents, and I felt a jolt of panic thinking they might be gone for good. I retraced my steps along 7th Street, asked at the nearby gas station and cafe, and checked with the library desk, but nothing turned up yet. I hope the finder comes forward through the site; these bags mean a lot to me, and I just want to get them back home.
