I found a small, 20-page zine with a bright teal cover and hand-drawn black ink illustrations this afternoon around 3:10pm outside the Hickory Public Library on Main Ave near the bus stop. It's about 5x7 inches, stapled, with a light coffee stain on the first page and a few creased corners from rain. Inside the front cover there’s a handwritten note: 'For Sam — keep sketching,' plus a tiny pine-tree sticker on the back. The paper feels thin and smells a little like coffee and printer ink. If you know Sam or this zine, it clearly belongs to someone who values their tiny art projects, and I’d be glad to reunite it with them.
