On Friday around 7:45 p.m., I realized my tan leather sandals were gone after I walked from the Riverfront area toward Bushnell Park. I retraced the brick paths along Main Street and checked the steps by the Hartford Public Library, but they were nowhere to be found. The left sandal has a small blue stitch on the strap, and the right one squeaks with every step. I had planned a quick weekend hike and they were my go-to pair, so losing them has left me feeling stranded and a little discouraged.
