What to do when you find someone else's property — your responsibilities and how to return it safely.

I found a blue RC car with orange wheels this morning around 11am in the parking lot behind the Westquay Shopping Centre in Southampton. It's a small remote-controlled car, roughly the size of a compact palm, with a dent on the front bumper and a sticker that says 'Robo-Racer' on the hood. The shell is blue with bright orange wheels, and there's a tiny scratch along the side from when it tumbled off a curb. I'm posting here in case someone is missing it; I know how much kids love their little cars, and I’d be happy to reunite it with the owner.

I found a black canvas tote bag this afternoon around 3:15pm on Winchester High Street near the Guildhall in Hampshire. It’s about 14 by 12 inches, with a purple scarf tied to the strap and a blue star sticker on the bottom panel. Inside there’s a yellow lining in the outer pocket and a fish-shaped zipper pull that makes it easy to spot. It’s in decent shape, not trashed, and I’d love to get it back to its owner. Blue stadium ticket stub for Southampton FC match

Found a blue, single-entry Southampton FC home match ticket this afternoon, around 3:15pm, outside the Portsmouth Guildhall on Guildhall Square in Hampshire. It's a Ticketmaster print with a black QR code in the lower-right and shows Row B, Seat 24 in Block A. There's a small coffee stain along the bottom edge and a creased corner from being tucked in a pocket. If the owner recognizes it, I’d be glad to return it through the app.

Large black Samsonite suitcase found near Westquay

I found a large black Samsonite suitcase yesterday around 3pm near the Westquay Shopping Centre in Southampton. It's a hard-shell case with a matte finish, two wheels, and an extendable handle; the corners show a few light scuffs but it's in decent shape. The bag has a distinctive red leather luggage tag attached to the top handle with the initials 'A.J.S.' in gold. There's a small dent along the bottom edge that might help identify it. I found a gold-tone bracelet this morning around 10:15am on the pavement outside the Portsmouth Guildhall on Albert Road, Hampshire. It's a slim 7-inch bracelet with a small heart charm and a tiny blue crystal set into the heart. The inside of the clasp is engraved with the initials 'A.S.' and there are a couple of fine scratches along the chain. It's just a simple piece of miscellaneous jewellery, but it looks fairly new and I can tell it might mean a lot to someone; I'd hate for someone to lose it.
