I found a beige tote bag this morning around 10:15am outside the Golden Nugget Biloxi on Highway 90, near the casino entrance. It's a medium-sized tote with tan faux-leather handles and a lavender scarf tied to the strap. Inside are a spiral notebook with a dog photo on the cover, a blue water bottle, and a small dolphin charm on the keyring. The bottom has a few scuffs, but the zipper still works and nothing smells off. I was wrapping up a late gig in Gulfport last Friday around 9:20 pm, and I must have left my two synthesizers in a padded gig bag outside the Island View Casino Resort on Beach Boulevard. The cases are black with a few stickers worn smooth, and one latch is a bit loose. A small patch cable sticks out, and the whole scene looked like I had just walked away in a hurry. Those synths are central to my sound, and I’m hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe.
Lost skirts near Biloxi Lighthouse
I lost two skirts along Beach Boulevard near Biloxi Lighthouse around 7:45 p.m. last Sunday. The navy pencil skirt and the floral maxi were in a blue tote bag, and I must have set them down on a cafe chair when I stopped to chat with a friend. The evening breeze and crowds on the boardwalk could have nudged them away. They’re distinctive—one solid navy, the other bright floral—so I’d recognize them if I saw them. Lost xylophones in Gulfport/Biloxi area
I am a local music teacher who was packing up after a small community concert near the Biloxi Lighthouse along Esplanade Ave yesterday, around 5:45 PM, and two xylophones slipped from my cart. They are wooden with brass bars, tucked into a red gig bag with a torn strap. I know someone may have seen them around Gulfport Beach areas or near the Biloxi Lighthouse, and I would love to recover them for my students tomorrow.
