Found brooches near The Strand in Galveston around 4:15 PM today. I was walking along a bench with a view of the Seawall when I noticed a small pile of jewelry tucked under the bench. I picked up several brooches and scanned the area, but no one showed up to claim them, so I brought them home to keep safe. The collection includes a turquoise hummingbird, a gold-tone sunflower, and a delicate enamel flower. I found a bright red beach umbrella with a yellow trim this afternoon around 2:45pm along the Seawall Blvd near the 27th Street Beach Access in Galveston. The canopy is about 6 feet across and the fabric shows some sun fade; the fiberglass ribs are solid, and the pole has a small dent at the bottom. There’s a white sticker with the initials 'LJ' on the carrying sleeve, and it was lying in the sand near the bike racks by the lifeguard stand. I found a silver flute this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the Strand Theatre on The Strand in downtown Galveston. It's a Yamaha student model, silver-plated, about 26 inches long, tucked in a blue velvet-lined hard case with a few scuffs. The lid has a tiny dent, and the metal latch on the case is engraved with the initials 'L.K.' Inside, there was a folded sheet of music with 'L.K.' written on the top page. If this belongs to you, please share the initials on the case latch and describe the dent to verify. I'll happily hand it over to its owner.

I found a tan pebble-leather crossbody bag this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the Grand 1894 Opera House on Mechanic Street in Galveston. It’s a Coach-branded bag with a dusty pink fabric lining and a pink tassel zipper pull. The bag is in good condition, with a small scuff on the bottom corner and a faint scratch on the front. Inside I found a tiny metal tag engraved 'JC' and a keyring with a faded photo of a dog; those things feel like sure-fire identifiers. I’d love to reunite it with its owner—bags like this carry memory, and I’d hate to see it go wandering.

Found a brown leather wallet this afternoon around 4:15pm in the parking lot behind The Strand on 25th Street, Galveston.
