I lost my brooches yesterday around 5:45 PM on the UF campus, near the Bookstore on University Avenue. They’re two small silver brooches, one with a tiny blue stone, tucked inside a velvet pouch that sat in my jacket pocket. I retraced my steps from the bookstore to Turlington Plaza and back, asking a few strangers if they’d seen anything, but the crowd and the wind made clues hard to read. They’re sentimental—a gift from my grandmother and a match for my favorite blazer—and I’m desperate to have them back.
