I walked from Carroll Creek Park toward the Frederick Station and Baker Park, but somewhere along that route my small gold hoops with a tiny pearl charm slipped out. I patted my pockets, checked the café floor, and asked the barista to peek behind the counter, but nothing surfaced. They were a sentimental gift from my sister, so losing them stung more than I expected.
