Description
On Tuesday evening around 9:30 PM, after a late rehearsal downtown Fort Wayne, I realized my two saxophones weren't in the case. I had set them on the ground outside the Embassy Theatre, near Harrison Square, while I packed gear into the van. A gust of wind and a few busy passersby probably didn't help. These saxophones are my livelihood; one is a lacquered alto with a repaired dent, the other a silver tenor with a sticker from a former band. My heart sank thinking they might be out in the elements, so I keep replaying every step of that night and hoping they’re safe.
